A valiant freedom fighter, a true patriot. Major General MSA Bhuiyan (Retd.). In 1971 he took up arms against Pakistani aggression to full fill a dream of Independent Bangladesh. As an young army officer, he lead his troops through good and bad times of war with courage and valor. After nine months of bloody war, Bangladesh earned her independence in December 16th, 1971. Major General MSA Bhuiyan's (Retd.) contribution to our liberation war will be remembered in years to come.

Now after 36 years of independence, he has declared war against corruption. His honesty and integrity collides with the mind set of corrupt politicians. His patriotism lead him to the liberation war, now again his patriotism is leading him to work against corruption. To fight corruption and to work for the development of Daudkandi, Comilla; he has decided to run for member of the parliament election in 2007 endorsed by Bangladesh Awami League, a party of democracy.

Vote for a change, vote against corruption, vote for a true patriot, give him one chance. Vote for Major General MSA Bhuiyan (Retd.) and help him get elected in January 2007.

Breaking news (1/3/2007): Major General MSA (Retd) Bhuiyan has withdrawn his candidacy for January 22nd national election as Awami League led great alliance has boycott the January 22nd election in protest of president/chief advisor Iajuddin Ahmed's biased policy making toward Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). AL party chairman, Sheikh Hasina, has called for resignation of Iajuddin Ahmed mentioning he is the obstacle to free and fair election.
